About Chorus Compass
Helping choirs find their way — and build a stronger future.
Chorus Compass exists to support choir leaders, boards, and arts nonprofits with the practical guidance they need to grow with confidence. Whether you're a small volunteer-led ensemble or an established organization, our work is grounded in real experience with the challenges choirs actually face.
Our mission
To help choirs and arts nonprofits realize their worth, do more with less, and build organizations that are sustainable, resilient, and meaningful to the communities they serve.
We believe every choir — regardless of size, budget, or stage — deserves access to practical, modern tools for growth. We exist to translate the strategies of business and marketing into the language of volunteer-led arts organizations.

Meet the founder
Sherri Lasko
Marketing & communications professional · Nonprofit leader · Artistic Director of Bread & Roses Chorus
For more than 30 years, I've helped organizations grow their visibility, strengthen their brands, engage communities, and achieve meaningful goals.
I understand both sides of the challenge — the realities of volunteer-led arts organizations, and the strategies that make marketing and leadership effective. I founded Chorus Compass to help choirs, arts organizations, and other nonprofits find their way while working with limited resources, volunteers, and people who have a passion to grow but don't know where to start.
I've served on multiple arts organization boards and consulted with many more. Along the way, I've seen the same challenges repeat — and I've adopted the strategies I've learned in business growth to help nonprofits do more with less, realize their worth, and implement methods that work.
My goal isn't to help choirs market better. It's to help them build stronger organizations, stronger communities, and a stronger future.
